Are you ready?
Do you think I’ll make it to Heaven ?
“I’m not sure I’ve done enough to get in.”
“Will I measure up when I face God.”
I tried to do all I could, to look good in my life!
Oops what about, not praying? Do you think that matters?
I had a lot of could of’s, should of’s and would of’s.
Oh great what about my behavior outside of church?
I tried not to be selfish, but what about what I feel?
People just never understood’ or care that I have my own needs!
I tried not to judge others, or talk about them.
Do you think they noticed my sarcasm? I said it under my breath.
Oh come on’ no one heard me, or saw me! or did they?
Did I stumble and fall to many times?
Oh come on it was only a little lie…
I only cheated when no-one was looking!
Pick me! Pick me! I’m better
Come on I won’t tell! so what if I did!
Take it’ come on you can do it…no one sees.
Why me God’? Why me ???
So what if I lied, it got me what I wanted in life.
Hey why take the Right way its boring.
I’ll do it right next time.
I promise’ (my fingers are crossed )
Come on I love you ! isn’t that enough
“I’m not sure I’ll meet the conditions on the Day of Judgment.”
These words of uncertainty and hopelessness really hurt.
I hope these are not your words.
Shout to the Lord’, cry out right now.
Get on those knees and pray. For its never to late.
God has been with you all along, waiting for you to open the door!!!
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Luke 11:9
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
