| Are you a lifter or a limiter? |

How’s life? Today I want to encourage you to rise up to the opportunities that face you so you can be a bigger and better person now and in the days to come.
In order to move on we need to look at how we limit ourselves. I want to look at two areas specifically.
Firstly by limiting God – The bible says “All things are possible”. Today are you struggling to pay the mortgage, finding it hard to trust new people? Do you believe God can guide you through your personal difficulty or do you battle on doing it on your own strength and not in God’s? Could that perhaps make a difference?
Secondly by limiting ourselves – perhaps in the past you have under achieved, had broken relationships, failed exams. Our past does not have to prevent us from taking up new opportunities and doing better than before in the future.
Sometimes we have to take risks. Jesus says he has plans to prosper us and not to harm us and to give us a hope for the future. What have we to worry about?
I know at times my mind has said I cannot do it or I will not do it however rising to new opportunities is not always easy but if we break through instead of breaking down out lives will be a lot more happy and fruitful.
There are tertiary factors that intercept into these categories above that could cause possible limitations such as pride, fear of the unknown, lack of self esteem and doubt to name but a few.
However though life’s circumstances God tests our character, strengthening us, changing our perspectives, making our interpersonal relationships better, but what barriers are you putting in the way for God to move you onto a higher level.
Today I will be courageous enough not to let opportunities pass me by but I’ll tackle every obstacle knowing that with God’s help I can overcome them.
Friend, my one desire is to see people achieve their true potential in God, I pray that where new opportunities arise you will grab them with both hands, enjoy them and hope that seed produces a good harvest.
Be encouraged, believing and life will turn out okay. Bless you friend today. |
