When someone becomes a Christian they become a brand new person inside. They are not the same person inside.  They are not the same anymore unless they go back to their old lifestyle but a new life has begun. ‘Begun’ being the operative word for many of you maybe a sigh of relief, if you know someone who you would like to change, pray it will be the will of God first but you never know he may start with your initially.

The day I became a Christian I said a pray with a friend at the time ‘Dave’ and I felt a peace inside my heart, that God loved me for who I was and a relief that the Holy Spirit moved in my life to make that important decision.

Faith is taking God’s promises for your life and daring to believe them which determines now and eternity. What obstacles are in your way at the moment and can faith overcome that pre-conception of faith and not fate.

Fate is defines as “predetermining events unalterably for eternity”. Faith is defines as “trust, reliance or belief founded upon authority”. Which one do you go with?

Take a situation you are faced with today – did you want to change careers or get promotion at a certain time. Well perhaps faith is letting God decide when the timing is right and not always in your alignment.

We can take faith that God is in control and we need to trust him with all our lives.  The bible speaks in Romans “When someone becomes a Christian, God’s holy spirit comes to dwell in them”.

He develops a character in us which are all the fruits of the spirit. In Galatians this talks about love, peace and kindness. Is this the type of faith and gifts you need in your life today? Take faith that God cares for you and becoming a Christian is the best decision you can make, not necessarily easy but the best!.
